My own ghost experience!

From: Jake Simpson

I'm working security at the site of a closed hotel in Lyndhurst, in the New Forest in England (the Lyndhurst Park Hotel), all boarded up and waiting to be torn down. I live in a caravan onsite and sleep there (nobody can get any sleep in the building, it's too weird), the whole buildings impossible to get into now without me knowing, and the whole grounds are thoroughly fenced and chained up. its a pretty secure site.

It started with just weird feelings whenever I was on my own feeling like i was being watched. a few times I'll look up at the windows in the older part of the hotel, and sometimes i swear there's someone staring back at me out of the first floor ones (the ground floor ones are boarded up). it looks like a pale old man but every time I look again he's gone. sometimes when you look throu the holes in the shutters you can just almost see shadows of people inside dancing or talking and when you bang on the thing or take a better look there gone.

I'm not the only one whos seen them all the lads have said the same but weve been told not to talk about it because the company doesn't want any rumors' getting round which is fair enough.

The other night was the last straw. Just before 3am i was woken up by this really horrible feeling like being a bath of ice and the caravan felt like it was spinning. i got out and in the moonlight I saw a bloke standing in the grounds so i shouted 'OY' and he looked around and stared he was an old bloke, maybe early 70s late 60s but he was wearing a wig like a judge or something, and weird old clothes. i asked "who are you" and he said he was duke but he was an old feller so i asked for his real name and he said he was called stack pole. i said he wasn't allowed to be hear because it was all closed off he said "you cant stop a man walking about his grounds" i said there not your grounds mate were knocking it all down and he turned around and stared me right in the eyes and started screaming and suddenly everything was spinning and it was like i was in a ice bath again and then I opened my eyes and i was lying down on the grass and when i checked my phone again it was 5am. i wrote it down in the report book but they rubbed it out said we shouldn't put that sort of thing down on record but I know im not the only one whos seen him.

My ghost experience/death encounter

From: Kayla Ryan

I've always believed in ghosts, when I was young I remember the day my grandma died the phone flew off the counter. I had some other minor experiences of feeling creeped out at an area towards my bus stop when I was a teenager and even heard a disembodied voice whisper my name a few times down there. I also found some of my personal belongings down there too. Anyways, I never really had a solid one on one true ghost experience until I moved into apartment 22 at the grey stone apartments in Redmond Oregon. I was forewarned by the previous tenants that there were spirits who resided there. A dominant spirit and then a weaker one, who they described could have been a child but was controlled by the powerful one. I didn't take it too serious but it intrigued me, they seemed fine and when I asked the landlord if anything crazy ever happened there (his family has owned them for 30-40 years now) he denied anything occurred. I thought well why would he tell me it might make me wanna find somewhere else to live. So the first few months were fine, creepy things happened almost on a weekly basis. Usually when I was home alone but I saw a black shadow out of the corner of my eye a few times while my boyfriend and roommates were there. My cat whom I had owned previous to moving in would seem to watch corners of the room, or upstairs he would sit on my bed and tenatively stare at the hallway. That was unusual. When I was home alone and if I was sitting downstairs the doors upstairs would slam. Even if all the windows and outside doors were shut. Or if I was upstairs the downstairs bathroom door would slam shut for no reason, also usually without a draft. The earliest abnormal occurrence happened one day when my roommates were at work, my boyfriend and his friend left to go on a bike ride, and my mom and I were visiting upstairs. After about 15-20 minutes, I heard the front door open and someone go into the kitchen and start making something to eat. My mom heard it to I just assumed it was my boyfriend and they were grabbing a bite to eat really quick. We heard a glass on the counter, the fridge open and a beverage poured. We also heard some more moving around of plastic tuberware and what not. My mom then told me she wanted to leave because she wasn't all that fond of my boyfriend at the time and wanted me to walk her to the door. As soon as I got downstairs and glanced to the left into my kitchen, there was absolutely nothing. No dishes out, no boyfriend or his friend. Nothing. My mom and I were both spooked then it dawned on me that the whole time we heard someone in the kitchen, I never once heard a voice. Shortly after that incident I was alone one night the roommates at work and my boyfriend and I were fighting so he left. My cat was inside and that was it besides me. I decided to walk down to 7/11 to grab some munchies n kinda clear my mind. I locked the door and even double checked it to see if it was locked because it was bulky and old and didn't shut all the way sometimes. It was definitely locked. I turned and took exactly 3 steps towards the alley way and heard a metal click sound. It sounded like my door being unlocked. Being intrigued once again because I knew I lived with a ghost I turned around to open my door and it opened right up. Unfortunately for me I thought this haunting was neat, I prided myself on it, shared my experiences with friends and didn't think anything bad would happen. That idea ended when my roommate moved out and my brother moved in. He is a very kind person and easy to live with. I trust him fully and he's not much of a prankster. He came into my room one night and asked me what I had wanted, I asked him what he meant? He told me someone just knocked on his door and it must have been me because my boyfriend and I were in our room and his girlfriend was in the bathroom. I told him I never knocked on his door it was probably my ghost! A few nights later it all turned ugly. He came into my room once again, lifted his shirt and told me he had been awakened by a burning sensation. There were close to 50-100 tiny fresh scratches all across his entire chest. It looked as if a cat could do it but his cat and mine weren't in the room and if it had been one of them he didn't feel any paws or weight shifting on the bed. I should've taken that as a warning sign. He quickly moved out within the next one or two weeks and it was just my boyfriend and I living there. On December 22nd, 2009 I was decorating the apartment with my boyfriend for Christmas. We had all kinds of things laying out including some of his tools he used to work on his bikes. I was feeling frustrated and naggy and reluctantly picked up some of his tools to get them out of the way. I remember running upstairs with a drill bit screw driver in my hand and when I almost got to the top of the staircase I tripped on a stair and fell. When I stood up I didn't notice anything except the screwdriver was no longer in my hand. As I glanced down I saw the handle sticking out of my torso and my first instinct was to pull it out. I panicked and ran downstairs to tell my boyfriend what happened and we searched for our phone, which we couldn't find right away for some reason. I made it to the hospital and miraculously and lasserated my liver by 6". I didn't hit my spine and it was a clean insertion. No surgery just 6 weeks of bed rest and eventually my liver would heal itself. I thought it was ironic I hit the only organ that's capable of healing itself after a traumatic injury and have always believed I had a guardian angel. When I got home from the hospital on Christmas day, my father visited me who was somewhat of a spiritual traveler. He looked me in the eye and asked me, "You know it was those spirits that got ya, right?" My heart sunk. In the midst of all the drama I had forgot about my somewhat violent ghost. I decided that I didn't want to stay to see what else they had in store. I requested to move into a new apartment to my landlord and within the next few weeks we switched. Unfortunately once again tragedy befell me right before I moved out, my beautiful black cat disappeared. I had raised him since he was a kitten up until the age of 5. He would follow me to the store, hang out with me and sleep in my room. I looked for him for weeks but I never saw him again. However, I'm happy to say that since I moved out I never had another violent ghost experience since, although I've encountered some spirits here and there. I also still have chronic pain from where I was lasserated.
