My cat sees a ghost?

My husband & i & our 13 yr old son have recently moved into an apartment.we have 2 cats, one siamese.ever since we moved here, carlos(the cat) seems to be stuck to my side.walks me down the hallway and even sleeps in bed with us.he stand at my feet while i do dishes, which i thought was odd since he never seemed to even care for me before.the first night i was here i noticed something strange.my husband was at work and my son wasn't home so i was alone unitl about 2 am. Around 11:30 i was walking down the hallway and as i turned into the bathroom, i noticed out of the corner of my eye the light in the hallway went out behind me.the light is controlled with a pull string from the ceiling. I turned it back on and tried to rationalize it.told my husband although he didnt seem to believe me. So a few weeks later he and i are in the living room watching a movie,(in the bathroom i keep a little radio that is always on real low)in the background we can faintly hear our sons favorite song playing on the radio,we even made a comment if he was home we wouldnt be able to hear the tv.a few seconds later the radio went full blast and stayed that way unitl we went in the bathroom and turned it off.ok.a few weeks ago my son and i left to go somewhere. I specifically left two lights on in the front of the house. As we were driving up the street to come home, my son noticed that th ehouse was dark, and said mom, u shut all the lights off?? You never do. I said yes as not to concern him but no i did not. I remember seeing them on as i drove away from the house.and the cat, he is always staring at the wall, for hours, i mean his face directly facing the wall as if he was in time out. Always in that same hallway by the bathroom.he escorts me everywhere literally. I do not leave a room without him coming with me.well the lights are all pull strings. Impossible.i just turn them back on. But this morning concerned me.

I had come home from picking him up from work and we went to bed around 4 am.(keep in mind i live in an upstairs apartment, so i have a door and then stairs and a door to outside.) As im walking down the hall i notice my door is open. My door to go downstairs!!!! I specifically checked the door before i went to bed, i remember this.i dont mean cracked, or something the cat could have done. The door drags on the carpet when you open it. I think i thought i was seeing things and walked right past it, went in to get my son up, came back and sure enough, my door was literally halfway open and the damn cat was downstairs in the hallway. This one i cannot rationalize. This makes no sense what so ever.this really gets me because i specifically checked the door before i went to bed because i remember squinting to see if i could tell if i had locked the deadbolt, only i couldnt tell because it was dark so i pushed on it with my right hand twice to make sure it was shut twice. I got up and it was open.
