"This is a real photo showing a young child playing on the floor. Around her you can see an old stick and ball wicker rocking chair - another fancy chair - a very decorated rug on the floor - and what looks like a GHOST right next to the baby. I suppose some could say it was a "trick" of the camera, but I'm not sure how they would have accomplished that back in the early 1900's?!! The ghostly image looks like another small child - sitting on the floor next to the live child. See for yourself. The "evidence" seems to speak for itself."

Back in that time, you had to pose very still for while to take a photograph, almost like a time lapse shot. If you look at the baby and the "ghost" you can see similarities in the clothes and the face. My guess would be that the baby fell over before the exposure was finished.
But the baby on the floor is kicking his leg and is obviously in motion and laughing - yet the baby on the floor is very clear. That would indicate a relatively short exposure time. Also, if the baby fell over during the actual exposure there would be a "trail" of the baby falling from a sitting position to the floor and turning over. Sorry, the "falling over" theory doesn't wash.
